THE ANALYSIS OF INDIVIUAL CHARACTERSTICS THEORY
WITH CONTEXT TO BALOCHISTAN CRISIS
BY: S. HUMERA FAHEEM*

INTRODUCTION
The Basis of the Individual Characterstics Theory lies in the letter wrote by Albert Einstein to a renewed Psychologist Sigmund Freud.
Einstein focuses on the question that " Is there anyway of delivering mankind from war?". According to Freud the violence has always been a final arbitrator for human life. but there has been important development to control the violence through the rule of law.
furthur analysis of the theory shows that there is no possibility of getting rid entirely of human aggressive impulses, however it is possible to emphasis the positive sentiments that binds humans to one another. By loving each other hand by developing a common identification with each other. To extent the social conflicts are based on AGGRESSION of individuals, we might expect that social conflicts could be reduced by changing the individual.
Theory says that aggression is the basic drive of the human species, founded on our past history of neutral selection or certain aggressive behavior are tied to specific pattern of genes. We see aggression building up in the individuals a result of accumulation of frustration ,we do at least have a clear direction for seeking reduction in conflicts:- Try to reduce the frustration of those who engaged in conflict
On the other hand theory also provided the resolution of the conflicts erupted by aggressive behavior as the Theory of Social Learning emphasized on the observational and social conditioning of human behavior through education, awareness and reducing the element of violence.

CRISIS IN BALOCHISTAN & INDIVIUAL CHARACTERSTICS THEORY
The theory provides the good understanding of the conflict in the Balochistan and can give a valid resolution of the crisis situation in the province. To simplify the complex situation of crisis and conflicts, one need to know the reasons behind it.
Nature of the conflicts existed in Balochistan is the Aggressive behavior of its people living in tribal and primitive society. The deprived situation of these tribes is same as the past few centuries as we observe today.
The reason for the violent and brutal behavior may vary from time to time and situation
but there are some root causes and reasons underlying:
-Balochi people are exploited both by the governments and on the other hand the unjust system of Feudal Lords and Nawabs, who has subjugated their due rights and basic necessities of life even their lives are of no importance in the eyes of their tribal lords. These people are so much exploited that a common Baloch is not even aware of his own rights and primary requisites of life.
On the other way, one can say that aggression lies in gene of these people living in such environment like and mountainous areas and hot climatic conditions. Their food and life style made them more strong and violent enhancing aggression in their behaviors.
- Gun culture, heavy use of weaponries and arms, killings, murders and old rivalries are the culture of the Balochi Tribes. They have their own history and tribal laws in which they don’t want to anyone to interfere.

PROCESS OF CONFLICT RESOLUTION
The process of Conflict Resolution in Balochistan requires a long term planning (strategy) and a consistent work towards the betterment of region, which has a great geopolitical value. As theory itself provided with the resolution of the conflicts emerges due the aggressive and the violent behavior of particular individual or groups in certain societies. In general, the people who are deprived of their due rights, suffering from lack of social and economic justice are inclined to behave in more brutal manner then others.
The Government in this regard is under a big liability inspite of their own interest , should have to make a positive strategy towards the development and progress of the region instead of escalating the crisis as observe after the target killing of the warlord "Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti". With the particular context with the theory government can manage the crisis by the given guidelines:-

-To remove the misunderstanding existed among conflicting parties that are Government Tribal and Feudal Lords, Balochi people and different sects of Pakistani community.
-To provide a common Baloch with the basic necessities of life like food, shelter, clothing, education, employment, as deprivation from these basics inculcate them towards violence, aggression and misperception.
-Then a long-term strategy has to be made regarding the social learning process, which reduce the arrogance, and aggression existed in society. People has to be informed and aware of their due rights which were snatched by the feudal lord and Nawabs for their own vested interests.
-As the province of Balochistan is rich in Oil and Gas reserves so the wrong perception has been developed by the lords that Government and other external actors are depriving them from their due share in resources. So the process of equal distribution of resources should have to be carried out from which the common man directly benefited.

CONCLUSION
The above analysis of the theory and the crisis in Balochistan identified the root cause of the conflict in Balochi society that is AGGRESSION which can only be alter with a long term policy of SOCIAL LEARNING in the region.
This can only be possible if the Government with its full sincerity and devotion work for the progress of the society by running its policies for awareness, learning programs, education and patience. The NGOs can only be helpful in establishing schools, universities and institutions for reducing the anti social behavior by encouraging the environment of peace and harmony.
As the Balochi nation has a characteristics of determination, strong physical appearance and sharp minds so if their capabilities are being use in positive manner, it will not only resulted into the progress of the province but the development of the country
